Stand With Africa’s Wildlife Rangers

Rangers are Africa’s unsung heroes.

They are conservationists, teachers, community support workers, leaders and so much more. They are also the people working on the frontline to protect Africa’s wildlife, often in challenging conditions and far from the spotlight.

The Wildlife Ranger Challenge, organised by Tusk, is a celebration of solidarity, connection and camaraderie across the ranger profession. This year’s challenge culminates on 19 September 2026, raising vital funds and awareness for the people protecting Africa’s biodiversity.

Project Rhino Takes on the Challenge

This year, Project Rhino’s dedicated K9 handlers and rangers from KwaZulu-Natal will take on the challenge alongside rangers from across Africa.

This is something worth getting behind.

These men and women, together with their highly trained K9 partners, are part of the frontline effort to protect some of our most threatened wildlife.
